Overview

Enjoy a day out hiking the Eagle View Trail

This beautiful loop trail offers sweeping views across the Swan Coastal Plain, stretching out towards Perth City and, on clear days, the distant ocean. Eagle View Walk showcases some of the most pristine conserved landscapes in the region as we explore the Darling Range within John Forrest National Park.

Along the way, we pass through a rich variety of environments including heathland, wandoo woodlands, and mixed jarrah–marri–wandoo forests. Expect plenty of rewarding vantage points, peaceful valleys, winding creek lines, and gentle climbs that make every section of the trail unique. A highlight of the day is Hovea Falls, an ideal spot to pause, enjoy lunch, and take a well-earned rest surrounded by nature.

Fitness/ Walk Grade

The trail includes moderately steep and rough sections and while it can be walked in four hours by very fit people, we've allowed 6 hours for this walk, so that it can be enjoyed at a reasonable pace by those with a good general level of fitness, allowing time for lunch, toilet & rest stops as required.

Park Fees

John Forrest National Park is subject to park fees. These are not included in the tour price.  Standard fees and more information can be found on the parks website here (or you may wish to consider an annual pass. Details here)
