Additional Details

What's it like travelling with Adventurous Women?

Down-to-earth, supportive, and fun. We travel in small groups, look out for each other and share the spirit of adventure. Everyone arrives with a positive attitude - that's the AW Way.

Is this a women-only trip?

Yes. All our multi-day and day trips are designed exclusively for women, led by women guides.

What fitness level do I need?

A general level of fitness is required - you should be comfortable walking 4–6 hours a day on uneven terrain. We design trips to be achievable, not extreme. Pack-free hiking means you carry only your day pack.

Where will I stay?

Comfortable lodge-style accommodation, not camping. Rooms are usually twin-share with the option of a single supplement.

Will you send a packing list?

Yes - once you book, you'll receive a detailed packing list specific to your trip and season.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Travel insurance with cover for active pursuits is required for all multi-day trips. We can suggest providers if helpful.
