Why some trips don't run (and how to make sure yours does)

 If you've been eyeing one of our trips and thinking "I'll wait until it's guaranteed" - you're not alone. It's a completely natural instinct. But here's something worth knowing before you sit tight. 

The cycle we see more often than we'd like

A trip launches. Interest is high. A few women book early, but not quite enough to reach the minimum by the decision date. So we have to cancel - and almost immediately, we hear from several people saying "I was about to book that tour. What happened?"

It's a bit of a catch-22. Everyone's waiting for certainty, but that certainty only comes once enough people have committed. If everyone waits, the trip never gets over the line.

Is there any risk in booking early?

Not really. If a trip doesn't reach minimum numbers, your deposit is fully refunded. You won't be out of pocket - just make sure you haven't locked in any non-refundable flights before the trip is confirmed.

What your booking actually does

Every early booking creates momentum. It signals to other women sitting on the fence that this trip is real and it's happening! Sometimes it's just a matter of one or two bookings that tip a trip from "maybe" to "guaranteed" - and that booking could genuinely be yours.

Behind the scenes, we're also working to lock in our guides, accommodation, transport and local partners. Having that minimum group size means we can do all of that properly, keep the pricing fair, and deliver the kind of smooth, well-supported experience you're signing up for.

Once a trip is guaranteed

When we confirm a departure, it's because we've made real commitments to make it happen. From that point, deposits are no longer fully refundable - but the upside is that you can plan with complete confidence. We'll always be clear about when a trip is approaching confirmation so you're never in the dark.
