Overview

Enjoy a day out hiking the Warrie Circuit

If you like waterfalls, especially walking behind them, then let Tara take you on a magical adventure. Springbrook’s longest hike, the Warrie Circuit is part of the ancient Gondwana Rainforests of Australia.

This track gets in name from the local Aboriginal language for rushing waters, Warrie. We will cross creeks and gullies, winding our way down to a very sacred place, the meeting of the waters. It is here that we will stop for a quick rest and take in the beauty of this space before we start out journey back to the top.

Along the walk, we will keep our eyes out for pademelons, giant land mullet, pythons, fresh water crayfish while listening to the sounds of the eastern whipbird.

Just before we get back to our cars, we will stop off at the local cafe for a coffee and delicious treat, at your own expense, before finishing the final kilometer of the walk.

Fitness/Walk Grade

This is a Grade 4 track which means the track is long and uneven with some minor technical sections. This can include slippery rocks, fallen trees and narrow sections. However Tara will be with you the whole way to assist where needed. A moderate fitness level will be required to enjoy this hike and hiking boots with good tread are strongly recommended.
